Good to know

How many players can we roster?
Teams carry 6 to 10 players. Entry is $60 per person, so your total depends on roster size. At least 6 players must be paid for the team to take the court.
What does it cost, and who pays?
Entry is $60 per player. Every player pays their own fee: the captain pays theirs when they register, and everyone else gets their own secure payment link by email. Captains cannot pay on a teammate's behalf.
What division is this?
This year's tournament is Coed 6. Four male-identifying and two female-identifying players must be on the court at all times, with one exception for the half rotation when a female-identifying libero is subbed out for a serving male-identifying player.
When does registration close?
Registration closes Friday, October 23, 2026, or earlier if the bracket fills. Any player who has not paid by then is not guaranteed a spot.
I don't have a team. Can I still play?
Yes. Add yourself to the free agent pool and captains who are short of players can pick you up. You will get your own payment link the moment a team claims you, and nothing is charged before that.
Can we add or swap players later?
Yes. Captains get a private team link by email and can add, edit or remove unpaid players themselves up to Saturday, November 7, 2026. Players who have already paid are locked, so email info@playsonoranvolleyball.com for those and we will sort out a refund or transfer.
What is the refund policy?
Full refunds up to 30 days out. Inside 30 days, entries can be transferred to another team.
What time do we need to be there?
Check-in and warm-ups open at 7:00 AM and pool play starts at 8:30 AM. Arrive by 7:30 AM so your team can check in together. The venue is Sporting Chance Center, 2100 W Curtis Rd, Tucson, AZ 85705.
How many matches will we play?
Every team is guaranteed a minimum of four pool matches before bracket play. Pools then feed into Bronze, Silver and Gold brackets, so every team keeps playing meaningful matches into the afternoon.
What should we bring?
Photo ID, indoor court shoes, plenty of water, and a ball for warm-ups. Every player signs the waiver during registration.
Are event tees included?
No, tees are sold separately and are not part of the entry fee. Order ahead and pick yours up at the check-in table on tournament morning.
Who referees the matches?
Teams share the load. When your team is on working duty you provide two line judges, one scorekeeper and one referee. We follow the USAV rule book unless stated otherwise.
